NATURAL STONE DISCLAIMER

Customer understands that granite, marble, or any other variety of natural stone are
100% natural materials and that there will be variations in these materials including,
but not limited to: polish, color, structure, movement, and/or consistency. Atlanta
Granite Creations, Inc. (“AGC”) does not guarantee an exact color match to any sample
or display.
Customer understands that inherent in these materials are natural characteristics,
including, but not limited to: fissures, pits, inclusions, fill, tinted epoxy and resins and
that these natural characteristics are not considered flaws in the stone. Material
thickness can also vary up to ¼ of an inch.
Customer understands that he/she is solely responsible for selecting the natural stone
and is responsible for educating him/herself on the proper use and maintenance of the
selected stone. All natural stone, an in particular white quartzite, is subject to staining
after installation. AGC’s workmanship warranty does not cover stains, natural defects,
or any natural characteristics of the stone.
Customer understands that natural stone will likely have seams that can be seen and
felt. All natural stone countertops have varying levels of hardness, weight, and tensile
strength. AGC recommends that unsupported spans of stone are kept to a minimum as
per accepted industry standards. Unsupported spans risk cracking, breaking or tipping.
Customer understands that all decisions are 100% FINAL at measurement and that
AGC will fabricate countertops according to the specifications that are approved at the
measurement appointment.
